Hi, my name is Leera and I'm a stay at home mom. I realized how difficult it was to fulfill my daughter's creative needs on an ongoing basis. That is how Creative Kids Crafts was born in 2003.

My daughter and I enjoy completing crafts projects a few times a week. They are a great activity for my daughter since they not only encourage her creativity and improve her motor skills, but they also provide a great substitute for the television. The sense of pride and accomplishment my daughter displayed after finishing her craft project sent me looking for more projects.....

I would find ideas on the Internet but most required some supplies or pieces that I did not have handy. In talking to other moms I discovered this was a common problem. I would find some sites that offered craft kits but only provided 1 or 2 craft projects and did not really focus on preschool activities at all. Also the costs of the crafts projects I would find were too costly to do crafts with my daughter on a regular basis. My goal with our new business is to help parents with those challenges.
