Super Snacks and Finger Foods

Most of these snacks and finger foods are from the book Super Baby Food by Ruth Yaron.
- Soft pieces or wedges of fruit
(peaches, mango, papaya, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, banana, pears, cucumbers)
- Soft pieces of cooked and diced vegetables
(broccoli florets, sweet potato sticks)
- Carrots (for infants, grate finely)
- Small Tofu chunks
- Cooked beans with skins removed
- Cooked peas with (for infants, mashed with fork)
- Cheerios
- Cooked egg yolk pieces
- Small pieces of Soft Cheese
- Cottage cheese
- Cooked brown rice
- Whole grain crackers
- Cooked small pasta
- Bagel (makes good teething ring)
- Bits of french toast (cooked thoroughly so no raw eg)
- whole grain pancakes
