Title: 2 Pull Taffy My daughter makes eats and plays with
Ingredients:
White Taffy 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup corn syrup 2/3 cup water 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions: Put sugar, corn syrup and water in saucepan and stir over low heat until the sugar is dissolved. Boil without stirring until the thermometer registers 268\'. Remove from heat and add the vanilla. Continue as above. Doubling either recipe is not recommended - too much volume to handle and the results are less predictable.

Title: Pull Taffy
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 cups molasses 3/4 cup water 1/4 cup butter (best flavor) or margarine 1/8 tsp soda 1/4 tsp salt 2 drops of peppermint oil (optional) or vanilla
Instructions Put sugars, molasses and water in a large pan. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Boil until a thermometer registers 265\'F. Cook the syrup slowly toward the end when it is nearly done, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Remove from the stove and add butter, soda, salt and flavoring. Stir ONLY enough to mix. Pour candy out onto greased platters or shallow pans to cool. When the candy begins to stiffen at the edges, form the mass into a ball with a spatula. Take up into hands (buttered) and pull between the thumbs and fingertips- this is a \"short stretch action\". Continue until the candy is light colored and porous. Then stretch into a long rope not larger than one inch in diameter. Twist before cutting into pieces with scissors. Pieces should be fairly small. If the candy is not to be eaten right away, wrap in waxed paper.

In separate mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Then fold in pudding mixture. Stir it all up together until you get a smooth, creamy mass of goo. Pour mixture into new, clean plastic flower pot (or baking pan if you\'re making a grave). Cover with crumbled Oreo mixture. Add gummy worms for decoration and stick a clean plastic flower or plant in the middle to make it look like a potted plant. Serve with clean, new garden tool. To reduce the fat content, substitute Lite Cool Whip, Neufchatel cheese for cream cheese, sugar- free Jell-O pudding, and reduced-calorie margarine.
